Royal Watercolour Society Elections

All Members of the Royal Watercolour Society are elected on merit in a tradition reaching back almost two hundred years. New Members are elected by the current Membership of the Society based on the quality of their work alone.

The format of the election is the same every year although details such as the dates and charges may vary. Application forms for the elections are available from Bankside Gallery in early winter and the elections normally take place early in the following year.

Artists wishing to put themselves forward for election are asked to submit three framed and up to 12 unframed supporting works for consideration. The works are accompanied by a current cv and two references.
