An informal talk and tour of the Royal Watercolour Society Spring Exhibition by featured artist Olwen Jones RWS. Fascinated by the juxtaposition or organic plant forms and the geometry of manmade structures, Olwen is inspired by botanical gardens and glass houses to create bold yet calm works that achieve a wonderful loose and transparent quality with clever use of colour and technique. Olwen uses a limited palette of predominantly cool colours to generate life and energy with the botanical world of each watercolour.
