Botanical Art for Beginners

A beginners workshop over two Saturdays, covering skills of observation, drawing and watercolour painting to create a plant portrait. Through a series of structured exercises
Materials
Please bring a sharp HB pencil, a rubber, several pieces of inexpensive A3 drawing paper, a pointed sable brush (Series 7, Miniature Kolinsky Winsor & Newton size 6 ideal) watercolour paints (French Ultramarine, Lemon Yellow or Winsor Yellow, Magenta, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna) and a piece of A3 hot-pressed Arches or Fabriano paper 300gsm HP. If you cant find the watercolour paper, the tutor will bring along some small sheets....
