Support the Society
The Royal Watercolour Society is one of the oldest and most prestigious watercolour societies in the world, and has remained at the heart of Britain’s artistic life for 208 years. Today the RWS represents the very best in contemporary works on paper. As an independent charity the Society relies on the generosity of its supporters to maintain its artistic and charitable aims, continuing its programme of exhibitions, lectures and educational workshops and preserving the Society’s Archive for future generations.
Become a Patron
Patrons of the Royal Watercolour Society enjoy a host of privileges, including invitations to special exhibition previews and studio visits, offering unique opportunities to meet many of the artists who are RWS members. Your membership will help further the Society's aim to be the centre of excellence for works on paper, support the Society’s educational events, and ensure the preservation of the extensive RWS archive of watercolours, containing works by, among others, Samuel Palmer, Laura Knight and Edward Burne-Jones.
The Royal Watercolour Society would like to acknowledge the generous support of its Patrons and to thank them for their interest and enthusiasm for the Society.
