  • Hire our gallery spaces

The RWS Gallery at Whitcomb Street is a brand new exhibition and event hire venue in Central London.

Situated in a prime central location, just off Trafalgar Square, the RWS Gallery at Whitcomb Street provides a modern and contemporary backdrop for art exhibitions, showcases, pop-ups, corporate events, drinks receptions, and more.

The space, designed by the late Chris Wilkinson RA and his award-winning firm, WilkinsonEyre, epitomises the perfect balance between old and new, with the Grade-II Listed frontage in stark contrast to the clean and airy finish of the internal gallery spaces.

  • The Galleries

Designed with the display of art in mind, the three gallery spaces cover the ground and lower ground floors. A view of the ground floor gallery is seen through the main entrance doors at street level, moments from The National Gallery. Upon entering visitors are welcomed into a clean, white gallery space fitted with a silestone reception desk that provides an understated focal point.

Accessible via the main stairwell or lift, the lower ground gallery space comprises two airy vaulted galleries with floating walls for the display of artwork and exhibition material. This space is served by specialist equipment ensuring that temperature and humidity levels are maintained for the safe display of historic and vulnerable artworks. In addition, all three galleries are equipped with state-of-the-art lighting designed to flood the walls rather than produce areas of spotlighting, creating the feel of natural daylight throughout.
