To celebrate the opening of his major retrospective at the new Royal Watercolour Society gallery in Whitcomb Street, painter David Remfry will be discussing his life and work with the exhibition’s curator James Russell. The event will take place at the gallery, giving attendees the opportunity to view watercolours made by David over the past forty years, and to buy signed copies of James’s new book, David Remfry: Watercolour which is published by the RA.
David Remfry RA RWS is renowned for his spectacular large-scale watercolours, in which he combines a passion for paint with a lifelong fascination for the human condition. His work is held in museum collections in Britain and the United States where he lived for many years.
