New Work: Martin Leman RWS

The RWS is thrilled to announce that Martin Leman’s latest major solo exhibition will open at RWS Gallery at Whitcomb Street on the 16th of June.

This momentous exhibition will celebrate Martin’s six decade career and will offer a unique opportunity to view over 20 new works, including a large selection of his famous cat paintings.

Martin’s first book of paintings ‘Comic & Curious Cats’ published in 1979 brought him worldwide recognition. Printed in six different languages, it was especially popular in the USA and Japan. Martin has had many solo exhibitions throughout his career and regularly shows work with the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of British Artists.
