Julie Held

ELECTED ARWS 2002 & RWS 2007

Julie studied at Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal Academy Schools. She is widely exhibited across the U.K. and Europe, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Trinity Wharf Drawing Prize, the National Portrait Gallery and the Barbican.

Her work is held in a number of public collections, including Nuffield College, Oxford University; The Women’s Art Collection, Cambridge University; The Ruth Bochard Collection of British Self Portraits; The Ben Uri Museum; The L.S.E., and the Thomas Choir School, Leipzig.

She teaches at the Royal Drawing School and is a member of the NEAC, the London Group, the Arborealists, and the RWS.
