RWS Gallery at Whitcomb Street £45 10.30am - 12.30pm
This workshop introduces the principles of colour mixing for portraiture, helping you create a wide range of natural skin tones using a limited palette.
You'll explore how light, shadow and undertones influence colour, learning how to mix warm and cool variations while avoiding flat or overworked results.

Through practical exercises, you'll gain confidence in observing subtle shifts in colour and applying them to simple portrait studies.

Whether you're completely new to watercolour, studying art, or looking to strengthen your technical skills, RWS Summer School offers an opportunity to build your knowledge in manageable, focused sessions.

All materials are provided.

This workshop will take place at RWS Gallery on Whitcomb Street, just off Trafalgar Square.

All bookings are non-refundable.
