Discover how masking fluid can expand the creative possibilities of watercolour painting. This practical workshop will explore how to apply and remove masking fluid effectively to preserve areas of white paper, create crisp edges and build up layers of colour.

Through short exercises, participants will experiment with using masking fluid to introduce contrast, texture and intricate detail into a painting. They will then apply these techniques to a simple guided painting, exploring how masking fluid can help shape a composition and reveal new possibilities in their work.
