Ken Howard was born in 1932 in London. He trained at the Hornsey School of Art and at the Royal College of Art. He then studied in Florence on a British Council Scholarship. Ken has had solo shows at New Grafton Gallery, Oscar and Peter Johnson Ltd, Plymouth Arts Centre, Plymouth City Art Gallery, Hong Kong Art Centre and St Helier Gallery in Jersey. His work is held in many private and public collections including Plymouth City Art Gallery, Sheffield Art Gallery, the Imperial War Museum, Guildhall Art Gallery, the National Army Museum, Hove Museum Art Gallery, Ulster Museum and the Southend Museum and Art Gallery. Ken has served as the official artist of the Imperial War Museum and has completed a commission for the Drapers Company, the Haberdashers Company, the Stock Exchange, Lloyds of London and the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.
